Early Childhood, Pre-K & Kindergarten

Our Early Childhood Program is designed to help students grow in literacy, creativity, and confidence; and to instill a love of learning. We do this by providing a nurturing, supportive and engaging classroom environment filled with hands-on experiences.

We offer various programs for our youngest learners. Children must be three, four or five years old by September 1st and toilet-trained to participate in these programs.

3-day PreK3 Program: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (7:55am-11:30am)
PreK3 Half Day Program: Monday through Friday (7:55am-11:30am)
PreK3 Full Day Program: Monday through Friday (7:55am-3:10pm)
PreK4 Half Day Program: Monday through Friday (7:55am-11:30am)
PreK 4 Full Day Program: Monday through Friday (7:55am-3:10pm)
Kindergarten Program (Full Day): Monday through Friday (7:50am-3:10pm)

Program Highlights

Our early literacy program begins in PK4 utilizing the Haggerty Phonics Program, a research-based curriculum teaching phonemic awareness to build literacy skills. Additionally, all PK students attend weekly specials including, library, music, and PE. A structured, free-play classroom approach encourages curiosity, exploration, and discovery. Gross and fine motor skills are developed through a variety of experiences.

Our Kindergarten program provides a similar nurturing Catholic environment for creative play, socialization and independence; however, with a stronger focus on core curriculum. We utilize HMH Into Reading which focuses on developing foundational literacy skills, including phonological awareness, phonics, vocabulary, and early reading comprehension. We also use Wilson Phonics.

For math, we utilize HMH Into Math to build a strong foundation in number sense, operations, and geometry, while emphasizing conceptual understanding. Science and Social Studies follow a theme-based curriculum. Kindergarten students attend weekly specials including music, art, PE, library, and World Language.
